Hi, I'm Ilhan!

I studied in Utrecht, and have been living in student houses for the past 3 years now. I recently moved back to my parents, as I haven't been a student for a few years now and you have to leave after a certain period of time :P
I worked for the past 1.5 years after finishing my degree, and decided it's time to quit and finally execute the travel plans (which got delayed due to corona.. but I didn't feel like delaying them any further).
I really like to make music, I play the Saz which is a turkish guitar, and have a home studio in which I make music. I go to the gym a few times a week, and I like bouldering as a sport as it's both fun and a fun way to meet new people (I kinda suck at it tho).

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I made this account because I'll be traveling in middle-america the next few months, starting in Costa Rica. My Cousin recommended this site to me (he both couchsurfs and hosts), as he said it was a nice way of getting to know the local culture, and also the nice little spots that tourists may not know about :)

I'll mostly be staying in hostels to meet other backpackers, but occasionally want to couchsurf because... adventure! Why not try and see if I like it or not?

I can cook (50/50 chance of it being realllllly good or.... meh), clean, teach you languages, help you with anything you need manpower with, I'm really creative so if you do marketing/videomaking/anything like that I can help you with that. I studied Informatics so if you have any tech problems I'll be there for you! Can also offer website help. If you make music we can make music together :D
