Hi, I'm Ili (rhymes with silly). I love music and music festivals, sending postcards, video games, trying various cuisines, art, film photography and the magic of transient connections that may or may not turn into lifelong friendships.

I'm more than happy to share with you about some lesser-known places and events in Singapore alongside the usual recommendations so don't hesitate to ask me anything. My working hours are quite unpredictable, but I will try my best to hang out or meet up for a meal or drink if I can. Take care!

Music: Björk, Four Tet, Nicolas Jaar, Beach House, Death Grips, Burial, Aphex Twin, Forest Swords, GY!BE, Kings of Convenience, Cocteau Twins, Max Richter, Minus the Bear, Nujabes ... I could talk about music forever.

Movies: The Fall, Dancer in the Dark, Parasite, Visages Villages, Synecdoche New York, pretty much everything by Satoshi Kon and Studio Ghibli owns my heart. Also obsessed with UK panel/comedy tv shows like Taskmaster!

Books: Cesar Aira, Anne Carson, Roberto Calasso, David Mitchell, Ted Chiang, Margaret Atwood, George Saunders, Yukio Mishima, Karen Russell, Clarice Lispector, recently I’ve been really into short story collections, poetry and graphic novels.
