CURRENT MISSION

We are a couple named Ilija and Tamara and are travelling a year in south-east Asia in an attempt to do some outer and inner searching and exploring. We are also writting a blog describing our journey at www.and-then-we-are.net

ABOUT US

Our friends would probably describe us as laidback and easy going. Ilija likes music, but can't play and is trying to learn mouth harmonica. He likes light and funny company and is always up for some monkey business. Tamara is a little shy at start, but enormously heartly person. Oh, and did I mention.. she's a tree hugger. Yup, really! We like to taste new flavours, see new places and meet new people and this is what our journey is all about.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although we made this profile a long ago we hadn't had a chance to actually expericence couchsurfing yet. However, we're really keen on doing so and if you feel like giving us a chance (and a couch ;)) we'll be grateful.

We feel that couchsurfing is seeing a new place through local's eyes and that is what we are more interested over being a usual tourist.

Music, Movies, and Books

We like most music styles, but for Ilija one in particular is a number one choice - funk. That gritty, old school 60's and 70's funk.

Ilija is reading Jung at the moment and likes it. Tamara is
reading Shantaram just for a little bit of fun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We quit our jobs and went to travel for about a year. This is what we are doing now.
