My name is Ilinca, I was born and raised in Transylvania and I am currently attending university in the UK.

I've been described as a social person, with a taste for adventure and unpredictability: I like surprises and new situations. I love challenges and I am a very determined person. The more I have to get out of my comfort zone the better!

I have a very big interest in anything people and society related: culture, history, art etc. I am also a very keen walker. As well as visiting museums and any other cultural sites I love getting a taste of the local flavour, whether that be something as small as traditional meal or drink or something as immersive as engaging in activities specific to a particular region or group of people.

Academically I have been very engaged with my subjects. Being very interested in the Japanese culture, I went on an exchange experience there for 6 months when I was 15, and as a result I can fluently speak Japanese.
