ABOUT ME

Hello, it is ilkay. I am a 26 years old woman from Turkey who lives in Berlin. I speak fluent English and currently i am learning German. Actually i can understand B1 but i have little problem while speaking, maybe because of lack of practice. Anyway :D I have lived in Istanbul and Prague-erasmus student-before. I used to work as flight attendant so i have been in a lot of places, meet and serve to a lot of people. And i have a German husband. All has provided me capability of communicating with people from everywhere. -I suggest to check my list :p-. I mean, i am pretty easygoing. You can expect someone who is friendly, smiling and has good intention. I will be definitely respectful to you and your house's rule.

I do pilates regularly and have a dancer past so in case of interest, I can speak about them long. Also have couple of words about art, politics and economics.

I like to bring something as present to my hosts or at least would like to invite for drink, dinner.

Last but not least, cancelling or declining my couchrequest better than no answer cause i don't want to stay in airport or street :) so it would be kind to cancel even in last day. But please dont, I m really nice, i promise. i would host me :D

Bad things about me:

I love animals (cat, dog, bird) but i am strongly allergic. So, if you have one or had one last times. I am afraid we dont match.

Sihgtseeing, party, meeting new people, jazz music, bicycle, pilates, i really love to dance which has some roots, special for regions like vals from austuria salsa from latin america , ballet from russia, tango from argentina or others. Not all i can but i am interested.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I was feeling sick because of the weather here. I moved to Berlin in November, and next 5 months, i literally did't see the sun. As a mediterranean, I was slightly withering. I was listening 'California Dreamin'' and decided to paint a sunset. I prepared myself a Malibu with pineapple juice. I found old acyrylic colours and start to paint on a paper. It did't look bad. I did not know that I can ever paint a small thing.

I just put it to instagram to show people around me with californiadreaming and losangeles hashtags. It went viral.

I can even say I am still proud with that. But i cannot paint that good again.
