"Live and let live"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I couchsurfed during several trips to Europe, mainly in Paris, London, Amsterdam, Berlin, etc., which has been an amazing experience, as I met interesting people, that I would otherwise not meet during daily routine.
Travelling, Art (painting, photography and architecture), learning new languages, world history, swimming, social media (Facebook), etc.
Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy many types of movies - drama, comedy, thriller, animated, science fiction, documentary, etc. I particularly like movies about history and historical figures (e.g., The King's Speech, Exodus, Troy, Alexander the Great, Out of Africa, WWII movies, etc.)
I don't get to read much fiction as I read a lot of scientific articles/journal for work.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skiing at the Remarkables, Coronet Peak, and Cardrona in the Southern Alps, New Zealand
Visiting a gold mine in Ballarat, Victoria
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach one course each semester at college and/or supervise students on clinical placements, and I also work as a counsellor several days weekly.
