关于我

CURRENT MISSION

Be happy, make a difference

ABOUT ME

I try to appreciate the little things in life. Have you ever noticed how, on a bright and shiny day the leaves are covered in gold by the light? Or how people, at 6am, on a deserted road, don't really notice other's presence and have much more natural body language? How guilt, and regret have a real physical effect on our bodies, or how just the act of smiling will make you happier - just like waving your arms faster will make you walk faster, as legs and arms are coordinated to have the same pace.

PHILOSOPHY

Still in process. But, I know working hard , and appreciating the 'here and now' is in there.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I was a volunteer at an orphanage once. There was a lovely little girl, Ruth, who was left there, yet again, by her grandmother who couldn't take care of her. Making her smile and laugh after that experience was probably the most amazing thing I've done - her trust in me was the most amazing gift I've received.

Was part of the peruvian team in Bridge (U-28) in the 2008 Beijing WMSG.

Loss aversion: a theory which say we hate to lose way more than we like to gain - so once something is yours, you will work harder not to lose it than you would getting it in the first place. You also value it much more (adds some science into the "playing hard to get" philosophy. In practical terms: if someone gives you something for free, and then say they will take it away 'unless'... the unless will cost you more than buying it.
