I am a bit quiet and shy but I love to laugh and love travel and have met many wonderful people on my travels. I am recently retired so now I hope to have the opportunity to do more travelling. I am artistic, love nature and animals, and have an adventurous spirit.

Interests

I have done a lot of kayaking and camping in Alaska, Canada, and Mexico and most of the western states of the USA. I enjoy bike rides, hiking, oldies rock and roll music, throwing pottery on a wheel (ceramics), a little painting, curling up with a good book, swimming and photography. I also enjoy animals and have one cat.

I love non fiction books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent six weeks kayaking the coast line of Alaska ( about 600 miles of the Inside Passage) and 3 weeks kayaking the Grand Canyon (250 miles). I have also kayaked the headwaters of the Amazon in Ecuador. There is so much beauty to see in the world. Once I rappelled down a 100 ft waterfall but I was pretty nervous doing that.
