ABOUT ME

Currently I'm a second year College student studying international politics and Chinese. I traveled through China as a student ambassador the summer before my senior year of high school, and it basically changed my life completely. I'm going back to China my Junior year of College to study for a year. I was born and adopted from Greece, so I've always had the interest in traveling to new places and seeing the world. If society didn't pressure the youth of this country into "having" to attend College, I probably wouldn't. I guess the luxury of being 60k in debt doesn't appeal to me. But anyways, I plan on taking a year off after college and backpacking the world, becomming a dirty hippy and enjoying every moment of it. There are so many countries I want to vist, and I want to make an impact somewhere outside of the US. The plan with all my Chinese expierence is to find a job which involves lots of back and fourth travel between the US and China.
Other than that I'm your typical young adult trying to get my life figured out. I live in an appartment in my hometown with two friends. I enjoy a good flick, video game, walk, conversation. I'm a pretty laid back smartass who has a fault of being too damn honest. Sometimes I forget to think before I speak, it usually puts me in an awkward situation, but it's all in good fun. I'm really into making people laugh, even at my own expense. Recently I've been described as a guy with long hair, and no I haven't had a sex change. I grew up in Vermont. Vermont culture is different than other places in America, everyone knows everyone, their friendly, welcomming and respectful. It's hard to find better places than this out there.
I'm up for new people, places and situations...I love a good challenge. :)

I basically love any comedy especially Will Ferrell as well as dramas and thinking movies, psyhological suspense gets me every time. Make me think! I love movies.
I will forever be a punk head, ever since I realized what music was punk has been my thing. I'm into a lotta metal (thanks Parker) as well as rock and soft rock. Bands such as, Pink Floyd, Hendrix, Alkaline Trio, Sublime, System of a Down, Frou Frou, Imogen Heap, The Postal Service, Against Me, Beck...really toot my horn.

I've been really into political books these days such as The Enemy at Home, the Arab-Israli Conflict as well as books like the Kite Runner, and In Cold Blood.

I've overcome the society norm of what "normality" is. Being born with one arm has shed a differnt light on my life, I've had to deal with people and situations very few people ever have to. But I am who I am, and that is true beauty.
