Hey!! I'm Amanda and I have been working as a bartender in my hometown for the past five years after four years of traveling and working as a nanny. I recently sold or donated all the things I have accumulated while nesting over those years and moved to Belgium. I will be here for a year or more and then onto the next adventure (Portugal?). I will be doing little trips to Portugal, France, Spain, Netherlands, and Germany to visit friends. I also dream of camping in Norway so I will be making that happen. :)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'm here to meet new people! In my opinion, connections are rare yet I find traveling exposes me to more frequent and profound connections.

Couch surfing has given me the opportunity to enjoy many places in a way I never imagined. Whether I stayed on someone's couch or went to an organized event, or met up with a visitor in my hometown, it's always been a great experience.

Intereses

I'm hoping to start indoor rock climbing this year and continue with drumming lessons. I aim to learn some Flemish (Dutch) while living in Belgium and keep up with my Spanish. Cooking has always been a passion of mine and I am investing more time into learning and creating dishes.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I can't think of something amazing that I have done but I have had amazing experiences. My favourite so far was my first time visiting Nicaragua for a month. I had an amazing home-stay family that were warm and inviting. I ate incredible food, swam every day, enjoyed the nature and plants around me, and was quite surprised how satisfying it is to wash my clothes by hand. It was paradise.
