ABOUT ME

Nomadic, curious, thoughtful,up for anything,....

I am an American who spent my youth traveling around the south Pacific Islands and the Americas. And when I grew up, I just never stopped. I love traveling and want to see as much of the world as I can.

PHILOSOPHY

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "...holy shit...what a ride!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to have guests! As an avid traveler, I love to learn about other cultures and people. If you are traveling through, don't be afraid to come crash!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted and surfed throughout my life. I just did it through friends of friends before finding this wonderful website. Since joining, I have met many great people in many countries and hosted some at my home and made many new friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Dove in the shark tank in an aquarium.

Dyed my hair blue.

And much much more...

Teach, Learn, Share

Don't get me started on Civil Engineering, development or disasters unless you really want to be in school. I also love to talk about cooking, diving, board games and how to survive in graduate school. Of course I would be happy to learn more about any of the above and just about anything else under the sun. (I've been called ridiculously curious before).

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Bangladesh, China, France, India, Italy, Japan, Kenya, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, South Korea, Tanzania
