Hello!

My name is Ilvia, I'm 20 years old and I love meeting and interacting with new people, trying new foods, and traveling to new places! I am currently studying to be an elementary school teacher as I love working with and interacting with little kids.

One of my dreams is to learn and see as much as the world as I can, but of course being a college kid it's kinda hard money wise between travel, food and attractions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As said before I am a college kid traveling on a budget, so being able to stay with locals that can help me along the way would be so very much appreciated. I am a very easy going, and simple person so I don't need much and would just love a roof over my head! I would love to hear stories and all the little secrets people have to offer as to how to get the most out of their cities!

I am a Netflix junkie and love a good series, but I do love comedies and mysterious movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Summer 2016, I went to Bali Indonesia and I had the opportunity to volunteer abroad and I taught english to 6-8 year olds and it was so amazing. I was there for a month and would go back in a heartbeat if I could.
