ABOUT ME

I am a global character with distinct identity. My parents brought me up thirsty for everything new. I grew up keen to learn different people, their culture and environment. I lived with, learned from and worked for amazingly diverse people. I traveled quite a lot both for leisure and work. Today I see Moscow, Geneva and Zug as my homes.

I was born and grew up in my native Tashkent, capital of southern soviet republic of Uzbekistan. I became of age during the period of tremendous change from Soviet times to modern state. I am certain this experience had a big impact on my character proving that anything is possible and nothing is imposible.

My internship, my first job later, was at a German company based in Moscow. Representing several western companies on CIS market I constantly cooperated with people of various nationalities engaging experts from as far as Brisbane to work on a French project in Novosibirsk.

In 2.5 years searching for further international exposure I accepted an offer of a Geneva-based firm. Working in a team of 13 nationalities with clients from environments as distant as Dubai and Vladivostok I acquired inestimable expertise in multi-cultural cooperation.

Throughout the last 10 years I made friends and business acquaintances in many visited destinations. I like to think of myself as a true cosmopolitan ever eager to learn something new.

I am ready to offer the extra bedroom I have in my apartment in Zug, Switzerland for a short period of time.

Interests

I like dynamic team sports occasionally trying something new.

I like reading, fictional history being my favourite. I am confident that past is an unlimited source of information.

In high school I joined Karl Popper debates club forming a team of my fellow classmates.

I am a persistent traveller. At the university I won DAAD German course scholarship. Students from different countries came to Thuringia, where we discovered local culture, learned the language and elaborated team projects. I am still in productive contact with the friends I made during the program. At 27 I have visited many countries in Europe, CIS and Middle East. I strive to understand the in-depths of the nations I visit.
Part of it is to learn the language. Living in Geneva I found it natural to learn French. Since I moved to Zug I am improving my German. For me language is more than a mean of communication, rather a profound and detailed portrayal of national character.

As a hobby I enjoy cooking, which is like a journey into foreign culture rather than just a practical skill.

I am keen to discover more. Italian language and sailing are next in my bucket list.
