I was born in cold Russia, gradually moved to warm Spain, and finally moved to even more warm and welcoming state of California in US where I study now. As a typical PhD student, I don't really have as much time to travel as I would like. But when I am traveling, I spend my time meeting new people and making friends around the world, often during my hiking and rock climbing trips. When I am not traveling, I spend my free time exercising and doing yoga, savoring the novels of Hemingway, and rewatching the movies of Chris Nolan.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Accidentally took an economics class in high school instead of a math class I was supposed to take. Ever since then, I've been doing research in economics for living. Go figure!
