I’m an introvert who prefers to live an active life. I enjoy exploring, serving, learning, and spending time with people - but I typically recharge with a book, camera, or paintbrush in hand or a trip to the gym.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I live alone, so I frequently travel alone - but I would rather stay with people (hearing their stories, exploring their favorite sites, knowing I know someone in the city) than being completely alone in an unfamiliar place. I believe other couch surfers feel the same.

I’ve had opportunities to host exchange students and stay with/host some amazing strangers who are now friends. Though I am a quiet person, I love people and cultures - so I appreciate what Couchsurfing is about.

Interests

I have had a drawing and a painting in an international art competition. I have been a music lover since childhood and play several instruments by ear. I work in technology and build websites on the side.

I am an event coordinator for Compassion International and a chapter leader for Chicktime (a ministry that hosts events for kids in foster care.)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live by the golden rule (do unto others as you wish them to do to you) and love to serve, give, and do whatever I can to be a benefit to my hosts and to not be in the way.
