About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learn spanish, meet interesting people, make cool things.
ABOUT ME
I love to make things - it all began at the age of 3 when my grandma bought me my first toolbox.
Ever since, putting things together and turning ideas into reality has been my obsession.
Lately, that's meant creating software and experiences for the Web (I'm a programmer) but I love product design, woodworking, cooking and anything along those lines!
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in open-mindedness, adventure and, most of all, relentless pursuit of what a person decides is meaningful to their life.
I think the idea of natural talent is bullshit and that with consistent effort I can - no, anyone can - do pretty much anything they truly want to in life.
I work super hard but let loose with as much passion to make up for it.

Music, Movies, and Books
Man, so many great things come to mind!
Books:
- The War of Art: A book about why it can be so hard to create the things we want in life and how to overcome the resistance.
- The Unbearable Lightness of Being: The most honest book I have ever read. An amazing story that makes you think deeply about how the decisions you make careen you through life.
- Impro: A book about Improv Comedy that gets to the core of what it means to be spontaneous.
Movies:
Before Sunrise/Sunset: Just two people walking around European cities talking, yet totally captivating.
Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain: So much fun and an amazing piece of art.
Gladiator: An amazing story of vengeance, brutality and complex human emotion.
Project X: Totally ridiculous party gone wild. Just so much fun.

Can you tell that my taste is really broad? The topic of a book or movie is really never what I judge by.
The question is whether or not the creator pushed their vision to the limit, went deep inside themselves and squeezed everything out that they could.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a week with 10 friends in a clearing in the Mayan Jungle. There was an underground cave/cenote with natural waters running through it.
On one of our final days, one friend lead our group in a yoga session there, underground. Something about that moment - the water, the relaxed vibe, the clean air, the hanging rocks, everything - felt more perfect and special than almost any other I can recall.
Other moments would be flying to Ibiza for just 16 hours to hear Armin Van Buuren play an unbelievable set, skydiving through the Alps in Interlaken, exploring Park Guell in Barcelona - the list could go on but I would rather hear about your adventures!
