ABOUT ME

I'm a 29 year old medical student with a strong interest in pediatrics and immunology. Outside of career aspirations, I enjoy indie rock shows, contemporary fiction and snarky blogs. I over-rely on "Best of" lists, since I rarely have time to explore my secular pleasures anymore. Despite working hard and working often, I do try to have fun when I can. This may mean films, museums, bars, restaurants, state fairs, day trips and the occasional spring break. I'm a liberal queer, and I feel compelled to check out gay and lesbian establishments wherever I travel. Rio and Istanbul have been my favorites in this regard.

PHILOSOPHY

Act only on that maxim through which you can at the same time will that it should be universal law. Sort of. Less of an imperative, more of a suggestion.

So, I've just joined, but I like the idea. I tend to travel alone, and many places I've visited, I don't feel that I've experienced in ways that would make the deepest impression. Berlin, for example.
