About Me

"Be silly. Be fun. Be different. Be crazy. Be you. Because life is too short to be anything but HAPPY"

I am a teacher who is teaching English to children in a countryside village. I have a dream of creating a speaking English environment right in the town for my students with the help of volunteers from all over the world.

"One day you will wake up and there won't be any more time to do the things you've always wanted. Do it now!" (Paulo Coelho)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I became a member of CS after reading an inspiring book about backpacking in 2012.
To be honest, Couchsurfing has made the biggest turn in my life. From doing a boring sedentary job , I became a tour guide and then working in a travel agency in Dubai for over two years. Right now, I am teaching the village children what little I have learned out there in the hope that I can make some positive impact on their life.

- CS has brought me amazing friends who have helped me enlarge my world and inspired me to travel more, learn more and keep striving for a better version of myself. The presence of CS is a profound proof that we enter-are and we have a lot in common.
- 8 Dec/2012 - 10 Dec/2012: I had my first two guests visiting my place (Magda & Pawel from Poland - a really nice couple).

1. Reading books. I'm kind of a bookworm. My favorite books are The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, The Monk who sold his Ferrarri, Inner Engineering, Peaceful Warrior... And I have read many books of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh.
2. Traveling (I have been to China, U.A.E, Maldives, Singapore, Myanmar, India (Ladakh and Kashmir), Hongkong, Thailand so far).
3. Writing
4. Meditation and yoga
5. Learning/ experience new things
6. Cycling
7. Cooking and baking once in a while.

Teach, Learn, Share

1. I love cooking. Maybe we can cook together. I can show you how to cook some Vietnamese food.
2. I can show you around to see how locals live
3. My hometown is well-known for waterpipe tobacco, wood sculpture and for a historic site where featuring Nguyen Binh Khiem, a famous sage dating back to the 1500s. If I am not too busy with work I can take you around. Or else, I can at least give you some guidance if needed.
