My Name is Imke and I am 18 years old. I live in Germany, near Hamburg and graduated from High School there in 2016. I decided to not go to University right away but to go to the US for a year to get involved in a social Project, named Little Brothers located in Boston, MA. I will live in Boston for a year, but I also want to see new places and explore the United States and, if possible, Canada.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend of mine told me about Couchsurfing, and since I can't afford staying in an expensive hotel while I'm travelling, I decided to try it out. Also, I don't see the Point in paying a lot for a hotel, when the only time your in your hotelroom is at night while your sleeping. I'm traveling to see the City, not to spend much time in the hotel.
I think Couchsurfing is a great way to meet new people and save money on a trip, which I would really enjoy trying out.

I don't have any kind of favourite Music, I prefer the Charts but depending on my mood, I listen to all types of Music. Same with movies and books, except I try to avoid Horror movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not very amazing, but I survived the classtrip to Austria where I almost fell of a mountain. Twice.

I don't know if this belongs here, but I don't expect much from hosts. I am a very uncomplicated Person and I am easy to satisfy.
