Music, Movies, and Books

I play a fair backporch guitar. Played in bluegrass festivals probably before you were born (most couchsurfers are under 30, as I understand). My wife Star likes books about arcane spiritual subjects and I tend to read Dutch language mystery novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There was this big grey owl that followed me one foggy morning in the forest of the Appalachian trail near Roan Mountain that made me feel like a character in Lord of the Rings... Amazing wing span, head on a swivel, piercing eyes... thought it was going to transform itself into a wizard.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have section hiked on the Appalachian trail. I'm a member of SAG and AEA (professional actor unions). I've taught acting in the past, been published a few times in magazines, like to write letters to the editor. Play guitar, piano.
