ABOUT ME

I'm a person who wears many hats (both literally & metaphorically). I am very open-minded and like hearing about the interesting lives of people from all around the world. I love meeting new people from different cultures, hearing about their lives & sharing stories. I came to Sydney nearly 10 years ago as a student/tourist & decided to stay... so I know what its like to be new to this city.

I love sports and outdoor activity - I play almost anything - football, rugby, cricket, snooker, darts, tennis, squash, ping-pong... I have recently tried rock-climbing and also love to scuba dive.

I am a doctor working in the field of oncology & I really enjoy Latin music/dance.

My dream is to one day open a fusion restaurant with Spanish, French, Middle Eastern, Indian, Sri Lankan and South East Asian influences.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about CS when I went to a Japanese restaurant with a friend and met another friend who brought a couchsurfer to dinner. Since then, I've hosted a few people & enjoyed the experience. Its especially good when I'm not working & I have time to show people around & meet the locals instead of just hanging with other tourists at a backpacker dorm.
