About Me

Below is the ancient 2016 version, but jump onto www.skmusic.eu for a more updated idea of who i am :)

______________________________________________-

A city can be beautiful, inspiring, crazy or it can be beautiful, cold and touristy. Its all about who you're with and what you do. A backyard meetup in the middle of nowhere could be the most memorable amazing thing with the right crowd and the most breathtaking views and interesting galleries are just half as fun if youre alone.
Happiness is there to be shared.

On a side note: The couch surfing community seems to have changed quite a bit since when i joined .. therefore here some necessary text.. Please dont expect a request reply if you havent got anything written on your profile and/or no references.
Also men - no need to send whatsapp and other stuff for no reason but to hook up .. im not interested in any type of sexual encounters or dating, if you want that go to tinder.

ABOUT ME

Hello!
I'm glad you have found my profile! Welcome ^^

I was born in Germany and lived there for 10 years, then moved to Slovenia, where my parents are from and stayed there for 11 years. in 2011 i moved to Japan and i live there since then with occasional jump to Europe :)
UPDATE summer 2016 - "moved" back to Europe, not quite fully but getting there~

PHILOSOPHY 2014

Thats a topic i could probably talk about for hours ... since living in japan so many things have changed, I've seen so much more of the world, of how ... also cruel and different in a shocking way cultures can be.. i've seen a world not many people can experience, i got adopted (unofficially), started living as a gypsy (moving from temporary apartment to apartment) and all this makes you start questioning things, thinking of new ways, new possibilities ... you simply see things you havent seen before and think about things you havent thought about before. What did I want to say?... hmm .. I guess the closest to a personal philosophy of mine is that happiness needs to be shared to exist, at least for me, and protect your values even if its difficult, but change to the degree to get along with culture an society to a certain point ... hmm i guess its quite complicated..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I havent been active on couchsurfing much for the past years since i was living in japan and more or less working non stop but here and there i showed people the cool and hidden places in tokyo and from there beautiful friendships happened :)

Back when i was living in Europe and still going to school I had a japanese girl over for a week and a polish girl too. I couchsurfed in Berlin and Paris each for a week which was super fun too!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

update 2016 - arrived in Reykjavik at 6 in the morning with 5 days to kill between flights from the US to Europe and absolute no plan. Tired, hungry and dangerously dehydrated i was sitting on this bus terminal in the outskirts of the capital city and decided to take a risk an go live on a farm 3 hours away in the middle of nowhere.
It turned out to be an amazing experience! Learned how to take care of cows and milk them, had a squad of awesome Icelandic sheep dog and went up an incredibly windy mountain to a wild hot river and bathed there for 5+ hours getting into really interesting states of mind in that surreal landscape! That was definitely quite amazing :D

I've lived in japan for quite a while, there pretty much every day is a freaking adventure.. street culture, no plan run into the night, small funky cafes in the morning glow, the theatre, dancing in the sun and odd personalities.
Also traveled a good part of Europe with the camper, every trip an own universe, just too much to write it all :)
Currently in europe - working as photographer, stage manager, translator, web designer etc, traveling and exploring some new stuff ^_____^
