Overview
About Me
I'm attempting to travel to every country in the world! So far I'm pretty early into it and I've only traveled to 45 countries so far! 😇
When I'm not nomading about, I work a lot on my startup -- I live a pretty low-key and quiet life a few blocks away from the ocean in SF. I love learning and practicing new languages! One day, I hope to be able to be at least conversational in Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Spanish, French, Russian, Arabic, and English! With these 8 languages, I think I'll be able to communicate with 99% of the world and share stories and experiences with almost anyone I meet!
I mostly keep to myself, but I'm a friendly fellow who can point you in the direction of some cool spots to visit in SF, or give tips about traveling solo around the world while working full-time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've traveled all over the world, and have been helped by people from all over. I want to pay it forward by offering to host, and I'm also hoping I can meet interesting, kind, and curious folks from around the world!
Interests
I love cooking foods and trying to come up with interesting fusions of different flavors. On top of that, I'm into unique cocktails or strange wines from around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm generally quiet, and so I like soft jazz music or some smooth bossa nova to help keep me relaxed.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've traveled to 42 countries while working full-time, typically on a schedule of a new country every Sunday!
Teach, Learn, Share
When I was younger, I had the misfortune of being homeless on the streets of Chicago during the winter. I've been incredibly lucky since then, and went on to teach myself multiple skills that helped me survive and find my own success. I relocated out to the SF Bay Area back in 2013, and have worked in tons of startups, some successful, some failures.
From 2016-2017, I had a fully remote job at a startup working with a distributed team around the world, and traveled to 33 countries in 1 year while working full-time. I can teach you a lot about challenges you'll probably face working remotely or starting a business that is fully distributed.
