ABOUT ME

I'm the quintessential "Jack of all trades, master of none."I like being a pretty active guy. I enjoy all things outdoors. Land or sea...or air. I stay busy running, swimming, biking, climbing, etc. I also have a notable geek side. I've always been interested in science and studied physics and math in college. Recently I've been studying computer programming and am trying to construct a simple robot. I also have been trying to teach myself French but work keeps interrupting and it's not going that well. My job of 9 years (which I just quit effective January) has kept me very busy. While it was an adventure in itself, I am eager to finally have time to travel, indulge in my hobbies, and nerd out.

PHILOSOPHY

Life's short and you only get one, so you better not waste any of it.

Or to quote Tyler Durden (Chuck Palahniuk) "This is your life and it's ending one minute at a time."

-Spearfishing-Free diving-Kayaking-Hiking-Camping-Surfing (waves) poorly-Trail running-Skydiving-SCUBA-Rock climbing-Wine and beer making-Cooling out with friends-Nights out on the townI travel primarily to meet new people and learn about different cultures. While there are a few "must see" destinations on my life list, I largely wish to avoid the standard tourist fare. It is far more important to me to see the "real" side of a city.
