About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to maintain a passion for life and experience the vibrancy of the world

ABOUT ME

I'm 21 and have recently graduated from University. Having had continuous schooling for the past 17 years I am looking forward to some time without pressures or deadlines to explore the world and myself. I like to think I'm a deep and complex entity, but really I just like to hang out, try new things and have great chats with interesting people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am looking to meet other people interested in travelling and then go couch surfing. I look forward to hosting when I move into my own home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have heard a lot of about couch surfing and think it is an amazing community. With my long awaited gap year approaching, I thought I should try it out!

Interests

I find it easy to have an interest in most things because at the core of it I am interested in life; especially people's stories. My main interests would be animals, reading and music. I have done some trekking and will continue to for as long as I am able. Water sports are a favourite and I am always up for something adrenaline-spiking! I find poetry very moving and enjoy collecting poems. A little bit of geekiness and theatricality never goes astray either.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am most proud of trekking to Everest Base Camp during my final semester of Uni last year. This was a fundraising campaign for a charity close to my heart and was a phenomenal experience. I also recently went skydiving and that was awesome!

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't have many practical skills yet unfortunately. I am a very quick learner and am interested in becoming self-sufficient (ie know useful and necessary survival skills) So I would love to learn things like sewing, welding, knot-tying, gardening etc. Additionally, I desire friends who can stimulate my mind, discuss ideas and opinions, and provide new perspectives.
