ABOUT ME

I am currently finishing my masters in Historic Preservation. I live to travel. I love checking out the architecture in new places, both the 'sites' and the vernacular. I have a special affinity for Islamic architecture and spent this past summer working for a conservation firm in Cairo.

When I travel I love to check out the architecture, spend hours in museums, go hiking, find great places to have a cheap bite to eat, and end the day with a drink in a small bar.

At home I love to bike, hike, crochet & quilt, go to shows, visit galleries and museums, and spend way too much of my time in furniture consignment stores. I can only be in one place for a few weeks before I need to jump in the car and take a day trip somewhere new. Whenever we get a chance, my friends and I take road trips all over the U.S.

I am outgoing and love to meet new people. I'm not linguistically-gifted but I try my best. I'm not big on drinking but love to go to bars with friends and enjoy a drink or two.
