To win the lottery so I can live out of my car
Hiya. I'm Impy/Jen/Jenny/Jennifer/Jenbob/Fallapart/TheCaptain/Ninny Muggins...or whatever the heck you want to call me. The more people I meet, the more names I seem to gather. I'm not sure why this is happening, but I don't object.
I'm a conservation photographer, doodler, selfie model, shower singer and a closet writer, vegan. I'm doing a fair job of mixing business and pleasure.
Be honest. Be your best, most authentic self. Be compassionate. Be self aware. Be undefinable. Don't be a dick.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've surfed a bit and attended quite a few meetups (at home and on my travels). I've been involved in organizing local meetups/happy hours.
Through CS I've met people of profound thought and existence. I've met adventurers with tales to tell and homebodies with welcome to give. I've experienced cities through the people that live there. I've been tempted to the road by those that travel it. :)
Photography, art, wildlife, Road Trips, music, nature, camping, reading, Thrift Stores, coffee, breweries, recycled art, zombies, weird drawings, people, campfires, drinking beer around campfires, drinking coffee around campfires, drinking wine around campfires, not falling into campfires, listening to live music around campfires, national parks, veganism, finding a vegan cheese alternative that might actually taste like cheese, wandering, fraggles, getting lost, connecting with people, live music, owls and mushrooms, randomness, recycling, travel, vintage stuff, mcm, marvel, dinosaurs, rocks, cats, coffee, coffee, coffee.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I probably watch too many. Favorites being Pride & Prejudice, The Stand and Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog.
Music: Everything. Every genre has its genius and I want to hear it all.
Books: I read. Urban fantasy, post-apocalyptic, classic romance and environmental/vegan non-fiction are the current favorites, but I try not to limit myself.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While camping out in Montana I had the rare opportunity to photograph a grizzly sow with four cubs. I hadn't known til then that grizzlies will adopt the young of another bear if that bear becomes incapable of caring for her young. Watching the little runt of the group scramble to keep up with its older siblings, and how the sow would pause and patiently wait for him to catch up, I was struck with how universal love is.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to hear how others have grown and what they've learned through travel and meeting other people.
I would like to learn about mixing music. One morning I woke up with a mash-up of Animal Collective and Maroon 5 in my head. Its been playing there ever since. Maybe if I create a digital version it will depart. :|
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a pretty decent vegan chef and have a few killer recipes in my back-pocket (tested and approved by die-hard omnivores). Cheesecake, deviled hummus, maraschino beer bread...if I can get my hands on the ingredients, you can get your hands on some good eats.
