About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Generating travel funds and practice my instruments.
ABOUT ME
I currently live in Perth working in a job I'm not passionate about but it pays ridiculously well. I'm putting money together to allow myself to do whatever I want in life. I'm a believer in making your own luck and living in the moment. So, though work takes up a lot of my time, I try to make my life as enjoyable as I can meanwhile. I'm practicing instruments, ride my motorcycle, meet up with people and enjoy good food. Naturally.
I'm an easy going and social guy and I try NOT to be down to earth. I go for spontaneous ideas, the more ridiculous the better! The adventure always lies in the unplanned.
I started traveling six years ago (2006 that is). Since then I've spent most of my time abroad. I adjust quickly into new places and situations. It's quite easy for me to feel at home anywhere.
PHILOSOPHY
I live for the moment. Didn't use to. I'm living my life my own way. Future is unknown and I'm content with that. I'm enjoying the journey. Racing in the Rat-wheel is not for me. Hedonism-bot? Yes indeed. Might be worthwhile to mention though, that my success and enjoyment in life can't be built on someone else's expense.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Met an awesome couple at CS drinks in Auckland, NZ. They also happened to have a killer flat! They were my first connection to authentic Kiwis and truly gave me a fabulous start for New Zealand. Made me feel like home from square one.

Music, Movies, and Books
Love music! Almost all kinds. I really enjoy a song for it's good rhythm or interesting melody. I also love to play, sometimes getting cold chills while doing so. So cool!
With movies it comes down to the story. For example, original Star Wars movies were great, as the newer ones were indeed not. Once upon a time George Lucas said that "special effects are only a mean to tell the story, not the mean itself". And that forgotten lesson is the difference in those two different, oh so different, trilogies. Anywho, my favourite movie is Shawshank Redemption for the great theme of hope, persistance and friendship.
I watch more TV-series than movies. And with those I usually get greedy. Instead of watching an episode a week like it's maybe intended I usually get my hands on a full season and consume it on one sitting. Nights well spent!
I usually read only when I'm traveling. I've consumed my share of Stephen King's books and some other exiting ones. I'm probably reading from two to five books a year. This year I've read one so far. Lazy-ass.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sold everything and left my old life behind and left towards the unknown in 2006. Traveling has changed me a lot and I'm gonna keep going!
Teach, Learn, Share
Learning is always fun so I'm open to suggestions. I can probably share some wisdom about scuba diving, motorcycles, computers and traveling.
Would be GREAT to learn more about motorcycles, drumming and Spanish!
