ABOUT ME

I care about a lot of things and about a lot of people. If you are nice, I'll gladly spend all day talking to you about life, frogs, or conspiracy cults.

I like to go out. I like to stay in. I'm highly suggestable, but don't even start to assume that means I'm not my own person and lack my own ideas-- I just try to be as open as humanly possible to others, and will try anything once. Or twice. I like to take rambling walks. I enjoy chatting people up in pubs. Or wherever, really. I think a lot. I love to share. I adore eating vegetables. I am fiercely in love with my family and friends.

PHILOSOPHY

i like to believe in the beautiful, common good in everyone and everything, but i have to admit sometimes i'm not so sure.

that doesn't keep me from believing, it just keeps me thinking.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

love all 3.
movies: terrible at movie/film trivia, but i love movies. of pretty much all kinds.
music: i'm a music historian, with a special interest in ethnomusicology and music as culture. i will listen to anything, and like a lot of things.
books: voracious reader. if i didn't have a job, i'd read a lot more. i'd say i go through about a book every week as it is. i love words.
