COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been couch surfing for a while. I wasn't aware I was couch surfing and only discovered this website through a random blog.
However, most of my life has been spent traveling from one place to another and everywhere I've gone I always thought it was nice that I could meet people who would show me around a new place I've never been before. For me it always came natural; just walk into a bar/art gallery/illegal gambling den and make some new friends. But for other people I guess it helps to have a website to make connections so there's less of a chance of getting stabbed.
getting stabbed is never a good way to end a night.
