ABOUT ME

I'm currently living at the UMFLAT, or the Forum for Living with Appropriate Technology. We're basically an experimental sustainable living home in a retro fitted house... with chickens! It is a forum for learning, creating, and living intelligently. We grow our own food, compost all our vegetable waste, recycle as much as possible, and monitor our energy consumption. We strongly believe in community outreach and education, and are working to convert our block of University owned houses into an eco-village.

A little about me: I love making music, by myself or with others. I love to backpack and hike, ride my bike, learn new recipes, and to dance my ass off.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The FLAT is proud to host wayward souls from all over. If you have a good story, know a good recipe, play an instrument, or just enjoy life in general, we want to host you! We have plenty of couches and even a pull out bed cleverly hidden in a floral couch. If you're willing to help us earth plaster the garage we may even feed you a home cooked meal.
