About Me

Hey guys! Here are a few random things about me. I hope you find it interesting!

My mother is from Taiwan and my father is from Denmark, and I grew up in China with my 3 sisters. In 2014 I started at the conservatory in Copenhagen but decided to go on exchange in New York for a year because I don't like staying in one place for too long. I also love meeting new people so it was the right thing to do and I don't regret a thing! It was a great experience to move to a place where I didn't know a single person and had to start fresh. I learned so much and met so many great people.

I love music, I grew up with it and I will die with it. I play the piano and now i'm trying to learn the guitar! Music is something that is in every culture and it's like a language itself. We connect through music without being able to speak the same language. That is why I love music so much, it really brings people together.

I also love baking, although i'm not that good at it. But I still do it, and if you ever come to Denmark, I will bake for you! and hopefully it will taste good. Don't worry, you can be honest, I don't get offended easily :)

I LOVE food. I can be picky sometimes, but I will always try something before I say no to it. That's another thing I love about traveling, I get to try food from different cultures! One thing I have always wanted to do is to travel around the world and learn to cook different meals. So far I have done Thailand. Many more to go!

And one final thing- The one rule I live by: respect!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have had this account for a while now, but I have never used it before so I am still very new to this!
I could just stay at a hostel or hotel, but ever since I heard about my sister's couch surf experience, I couldn't wait to try it out. I would much rather meet locals and learn about their city, traditions, the history and culture through their point of view, and get to experience how the they live their everyday life!

I have traveled to many countries but I always end up doing tourist things, and not really experiencing the country. So that's why i'm so excited to try this now. I'm willing to spend as much time with my host as they are with me. But don't worry, I will also respect your privacy!
