About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Turning 30 without crying!

ABOUT ME

All about me could fill pages, no books^^- but lets give it a brief sum-up:

Everybody seems to be "laid-back and easy going"-intresting;) Well I freak out some times and i like it;)

chaotic/fixated on water without any ability to swim:D/single-minded/musing/need some silence-but music has to be loud/snappy/talkative/biting dry humour/ open-minded/ many-sided/ into art and books/determinded/rather concerts, pubs than clubbing/like to fool around just as have a good serious talk/ erratic/ longing for the faraway/ happy with a few things if the few things are what I need/ bit crazy with freaky friends/ like to laugh/ no couch potato but also not hyperactive/ love to go on a road trip someday/ doubter but love life/ my places are the wild, windy and lonly beaches/ clever/woodruff ice cream/Converse/creative/ hopefull/ clumsy/ avoiding small-talk/ complicated/ sunny days need a nice cold wind/ frank/ loyal/ proud/ music!/ bonfire/ nights/ ideas/ social/ act on impulse/need intersting people, with a minimum of intelligence, around me.

Best example from today to describe myself: Singing and moving while driving- stopping at traffic light-don't stop singing and grooving...Look to my right and see that the guys in the car next to me are very amused and copy my "dancemoves". These moments in life...well!

PHILOSOPHY

Since years I have these quote from Neil Young in my mind:
" It's better to burn out than to fade away" and that's it. It is better to try and change than just to complain about things and waste your life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As soon as I have a flat with a spare bed or couch again, I will offer. As long as not I am thankful for everyone who offers me a couch or just show me around or join for trips.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is pretty new to me, but I absolutly love the idea behind it (same as Homeswap ect.) Its great that there are more people in the world, whos main-interest is not just money but sharing. I hope I have more good times with CS'ern!

Interests

Writing brings some peace in my, sometimes messy, mind. I like to have a good talk and be around interesting people. I enjoy people in most ways and their differences. So I like to be silly and laugh a lot with the ones and talk about some mind-blowing things with the others. I like art and reading, I am impressed of people who can turn their feelings into something so beautifuly. I have music for every mood:) I enjoy beeing on a way to somewhere....but also the simple things like movies, pubs. I try to avoid nightclubs- very seldom I feel like it.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite book forever: Frankie Starlight!

Movies I loved: Into the Wild, The eternal sunshine of a spottless mind, Dead Poets Society, What Dreams May Come...

I have music for every mood on my MP3 Player. At most I like rock, punkrock, Indie and a good singer songer writer with a guitar. I must say, Germany has a few very good musicans like Jupiter Jones, Revolverheld, Ärzte, Philipp Poisel...and then there are the internationals like Placebo, Jack Johnson, Matt Corby, We invited Paris, Noah and the Whale, Linkin Park, Paolo Nutini and last but not least Mumford and Sons! I like the newbies "Of Monsters and Men" pretty much-good album-especially for travelling!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Little things are often still amazing to me! If you know the ups and downs of life- you learn to appreciate the little things. Coming to Australia is a big thing for me and I never regret it for a minute. I hope New Zealand will be as amazing as I wish for since ages. And the amazing thing i did in my life are not accessable for the whole world;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't have any special skills (except a good sense of sarcasm). I'd like to share my time and thoughts with nice and open people and learn from their lifes too.
