About Me

CURRENT MISSION

watch out for the big "this could be my future" feeling while enjoying life

ABOUT ME

I enjoy conversations - either light or deep - and a good meal. I´m a big fan of the sea oder lakes - water is my favorite elemet. If I´m not stroling in a new city, discovering street art, a good café to watch people walking by or experiencing the local culture, I like to read a book or go for a drink with friends - either new or old ones. I like to dive in new worlds, if it´s manifested in virtual, mental oder haptical realities. So, let´s see if we find a subject :)

PHILOSOPHY

Do what you love and do it often.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed and want to host. Unfortunatly, one of my flatmates wouldn´t agree, but now he himself is on a trip in Australia... I think after that trip he will have changed his mind. During his absence, I tryed to host but up until now it didn´t work out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed twice. First time on a couch of a friend in Berlin, now we´re friends on CS. I had a great time, even got the spare key and had breakfast with the roommates girlfriend. Second time I was even more surprised when a very generous girl invited me to her already full-of-couchsurfer-house. We cooked together and talked for ages. It was great fun.

Interests

needless to say, I like to travel.
I enjoy discussions as well as story-telling, really almost any kind of participating in a community or engaging in an conversation. yeah, I really like to talk to people!
Cultural experiences, like food, (drinking) habits and art, stir my curiosity.
I love all kinds of sea and big lakes - I´m a passioned swimmer and scuba diver.

Music, Movies, and Books

recently:

short movies, Hannah Ahrendt, The Great Gatsby
GoT, Sherlock

acoustic guitar, jazz, d´n´b, wir sind helden, gossip, imagine dragons

Bateson, Foucault,sociological or philosophical stuff
so it´s been long since I´ve read a ordinary novel. I think the last one was "the secret garden".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

diving with a manta, sitting on the jib mast of the lugger I was sailing with, finishing by bachelor thesis - and feel the releaf and freedom again!, listening to the sound of the waves rolling on the coast or the fingers of Ewan Dobson flying over his guitar.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach some cooking, philosophical/sociological thinking and how to procrastinate excessivly - and how to ride a bike or swim or swear in hebrew.

Countries I’ve Visited

Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Palestine, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, Israel
