I am a huge activist, and I take peaceful, and use non-violent, non-aggressive fact-based methods to combat hatred and injustice. I truly believe that love and understanding will win over hate and bigotry, and even if we do not reach out to those who promote hatred, we can help others so that they will not fall into the same psychologically detrimental hateful path.
For me life is about accepting reality, and working hard to make positive changes. I try to make the best of every situation, even if it seems tragic at first. I don't think it's quite right to say things happen for a reason, I don't believe that, what I believe is that things just happen, and it's up to us to find the positive in it.
- It's important for me to take responsibility and constantly work on improving myself. There is always room for progress.
- Aim for success but avoid showing it off
- Don't believe everything you hear, especially when it's based on "faith"
- Do not define who you are based on external events and what other people think or say. Define your own success, and compare it to yourself only, not others
- Travelling allows you to gain a greater social capital and the skill to fit in and mix with all kinds of crowds.
- Eliminate the concept of failure out of your life, I honestly believe that there is no such thing as "failure", if you closely evaluate every case that you consider a failure you will notice that what you learned from it far outweighs the loss. My philosophy is to always take what I've gained from the situation and that's how I'm able to see it as a positive turn of events rather than a failure. Learn from your past and enjoy the present without compromising your future!
- Look at the long term outcome rather than the short term. Sometimes there may not be any short term gratification but what motivates me is the long term outcome
- It is very important for me to embrace change and the sensation of transition. Being stagnant does not work for me.
- Always maintain your composure, it's very easy to get mad/angry but that does not solve anything, and it can be extremely counter-productive

I love the idea of meeting people from different parts of the world and I really enjoy meeting visitors to Vilnius and doing what I can for them to have a good time in the city. I feel as though this concept is truly a great way of bringing people together around the world. I love to socialize and meet people and I feel as though for those of us who use the website the way it is meant to be used it gives us the opportunity to meet likeminded people, expand our social network and really grow as a community!
