I grew up in a small town in northern California but now I am living and going to school in Philadelphia, PA. I am studying global health, possibly nutrition, and French. I really love nature, travel, and food (all three at once is the best!).

The reason I like to travel is because it allows me to experience different cultures and ways of life. The best way to really do that is to stay with a local.

I moved across the country on my own with nothing but a suitcase (going to college!) but that isn't so amazing. I have also spent the night at the face of a calving glacier in Alaska.
