ABOUT ME

A friend just described me as warm-hearted, earthy and a good listener. I suppose I am fairly calm most of the time, but I can talk a lot if you get me started on something that I'm interested in. I try to stay positive and if I am down it doesn't usually last for long. I'm from a very small island community and I like to search out similar dynamics wherever I go... which basically means that to be able to have as sense of community is really important to me. Before University I spent two years in India at a United World College. I miss India lots, but miss the friends I made there more.

I love to speak to folk about the wee island I'm from and am always willing to help anyone visiting there find their way around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I find that when I couch surf whilst travelling I tend to smile more- I think this is because in general the people I meet through cs are so kind, welcoming and friendly. It's a wonderful way to travel : )

Lots and lots and lots... Le Carre is wonderful, Fleetwood Mac gets me singing and I just saw Django Unchained- it was BRILLIANT.

I shaved all my hair off and went bald for a while. Not for charity and not because I was having a mental breakdown. I just did it for me.
