About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Figuring out my next step in life, currently no permanent home, job or school plans, but would like all of those! Totally in the surfing mindset.

ABOUT ME

So the WWOOFing is done, finished up working a season on a farm in Maryland, and now it is off to visit some amazing friends in Louisiana for a few months. Figuring out where I want to live, how to get the job I really love and whether or not I need school for it.

PHILOSOPHY

I just like to be happy with where I am, sometimes that's hard with other people´s expectations for our lives, but I try.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfed in New Zealand earlier this year while traveling, now back in the States and somewhat long term surfing with friends. No couch for other surfers yet, but more than willing to meet up for coffee or chat.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mainly couchsurfed with friends or friends of friends, all have been good so far. Have had mainly very positive experiences in New Zealand; hosts have always pulled through for me! I´m not too picky, just somewhere safe, comfy and with some friendly folks who can suggest some good wandering parts of town.

Interests

Animals, plants, crafting-especially recycled goods, talking, dancing, exploring.

Music, Movies, and Books

This is always hard, but most recently I finished Love in the Time of Cholera and it was a very good read. Movies I gotta love some of the 80´s/90´s fantasy stuff: Legend, Neverending Story, Edward Scissorhands. Music, I like a bit of everything-back in the States I´d been listening to lots of Bluegrass, here in Argentina lots of rock nacional, and a mix of whatever anyone else at the farm was listening to.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That´s really hard, because I find lots of things about every day life amazing so it´s hard to get me down for long. I guess this trip is the beginning of the next amazing thing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Recycled crafts-gimme some junk and let´s see what we can make from it.
Anything you want to know about (most) animals, especially if they´re at the SF Zoo. An old friend of mine said one of the first things he noticed about me was that I stopped to talk to every animal I met, still true.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Australia, Canada, Costa Rica, Egypt, Italy, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom, United States
