I have done a lot of traveling, especially backpacking. I love the thrill of meeting new people, testing myself, and learning.

I can sleep on a park bench, a train, a hostel, or a couch. No matter what, I am going to have fun.

I am very into the lyrics of the music I listen to. I am particularly interested in strong female singers who try to make statements with their music. Male singers that I prefer are typically older and more sentimental/open.
I like movies that are about people and interactions. That can range from comedy, drama, and historical movies.
I prefer any books that I can relate to or that have a historical reference. I am particularly interested in injustices and struggles that people experience. It is better to be aware and to acknowledge the problems in the world than to try to pretend they don't exist.

And crashing at one of their apartments where their aunt served me spaghetti and a block of cheese when I woke up. Not speaking the same language or the national language but reading shop signs arm-in-arm with her

I want to talk with the people I stay with. I want to learn about them and their interests. And I would love an insiders view of their country and its unique qualities. I can really only bring myself with me, but I promise not to disappoint!
