I do research on the political economy of energy transition and climate change. I would like to become a specialist on these issues in Indonesia. I have visited more than 60 countries, so I have not listed them below, because it would take too much time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to practice my Bahasa Indonesia! I will be in Jakarta from ca 16 Nov. to 13 Dec. 2024. I am happy to invite anyone who will practice Indonesian with me to lunch, dinner, a coffee, or a walk. I don't need a place to stay.

Since I want to become an expert on energy and climate issues in Indonesia, I need to learn Bahasa Indonesia. I have learned a bit on my my own, but I really need some practice. So I would like to meet up with people who would like to speak Indonesian with me. In return I can give them practice speaking English. Although I am from Norway, I am a native English speaker. I also speak fluent Russian and some Spanish.

Action movies, comedies. I dont like sad moves.

I like melodic, rhythmic, elating music. I like very many kinds of music, including jazz, glam rock, heavy metal, funky dance music, electronic dance music, pop, classical music. I am not a big fan of country music, rap music, very messy rock/pop, very negative or sad rock/pop.
