About Me
I am a 23 year old Aussie bloke that loves to travel and meet new people and have fascinating conversations. I am learning Spanish and I enjoy playing tennis, baking, reading, teaching and most importantly living life to the fullest. I’m a barista as well as an English teacher so making good coffee is a passion follow mine.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One of the best parts about travelling for me, is meeting people who are from the place that I am travelling to and learning about the place from their perspective and through their eyes. It’s refreshing to ask people questions like ‘what do you like to eat?’ And ‘what interests you in the place that you’re from?’ I’m naturally a very curious person so I find people from other places extremely interesting to talk to. I’ve had travelling experiences where I don’t make the effort to meet locals and just stay in the hotel, and it’s boring and I find that I don’t learn anything this way.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy listening to a range of different music including hip-hop, pop, rock and 80s and 90s stuff. Coldplay is one of my favourite bands.
The books I enjoy reading are those about history, narrative fiction and classical works. One of my favourite books that I read recently was Mother Mary Comes to Me by Arundhati Roy, an Indian writer. The book was about the relationship she shared with her mother who was a lifelong educator in Kerala, Southern India.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
