ABOUT ME

Currently living Bristol with my Prince charming, 2 perfect cats, my little boy, and an amazing job.

Grew up in an igloo with a pet beaver named Boo.
(what you thought Canadians have houses?)
I love to make people smile, even if it means making them think I'm crazy. I'm always up for almost anything, love the outdoors and love pushing my limits.

My goal is to see at least 50 countries, and I'm slowly making it happen.

I took a break couch surfing as I have been travelling with my boyfriend and the point of couchsurfing for me is to have someone I find interesting and enjoyable to explore with.

I grew up on an organic farm in a house that when we first moved in you could LITERALLY see through the logs, and only an outhouse.... so I'd like to think I'm a tough cookie who is always ready to help out, do her fair share in work and isn't afraid to get dirty.

My goal in life is to LIVE, and not just exist, but most importantly is to be happy which ironicaly is more difficult than setting any goal such as: buy a house, or car, or get a degree, or job.

PHILOSOPHY

If you aren't living on the edge, your taking up to much room.
Whats the point of living if your only surviving?
The purpose of life is to Experience.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

NOT VERRIFIED: First I would like to state that I am not verrified because for some stupid reason my Visa card & this website do not seem to want to cooperate.
My visa company says its the websites fault for not accepting, and the website says theres something wrong with my visa despite the fact that I use my visa other places so..... I keep trying, eventually.. I will be verified.

While travelling I am not interested in your couch, I'm interested in YOU. sharing experiences, and meeting people. If I can teach you anything I can, as well as soaking up as much as I can from you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been surfing in quiet a few countries and had mostly awesome experiences.

Unfortunately with a 2 year old it is a bit difficult to host as we don't have a spare bedroom and having people he doesn't know crash on the sofa can throw him out of his routine and having him not go down until after 10, wake in the night, and be up at 5 isn't ideal for anyone! (Definitely his Dad's son, not mine)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

JUST ONE?!
I took a full day on a camel into the sahara to camp with the bedouin people. Sitting around the camp fire, listening to their songs, tasting their culture and walking up to see the most spectacular sunrise. I have never seen the sun so massive.

Backpacking through the middle east by myself.
