About Me
Hey, I’m Ines. I’m 26 and about to start the journey.
I studied social work and worked as a social pedagogue for a few years, but recently I quit my job to follow this path. My goal is to travel, meet people from all over the world, learn from each other’s experiences, and build real connections along the way.
Right now, I’m looking for a van to start vanlife 2.0 – my first attempt didn’t go as planned, but that’s part of the story.
My plan is to travel through Europe this summer and find a warm, sunny place for the winter. I’d love to get involved in sustainability projects or work related to animal and nature protection, and use my skills for something meaningful. At the moment, I’m also doing additional training in forest pedagogy, helping both children and adults reconnect with nature.
I have a lot of passions. I love light in all its forms – I’d describe myself as a “sunny kid,” somehow deeply connected to the sun and its energy. I try to capture that feeling through photography (still learning, so feel free to share your tips!).
I really enjoy cooking and discovering new recipes – mostly vegetarian or vegan – and I love cooking for friends (they usually enjoy it even more than I do).
Art is also a big part of my life. I love exploring different styles, experimenting, and expressing myself creatively. Through my art, I also like to communicate certain values and perspectives that are important to me.
I’m also into all kinds of movement: climbing, skating, cycling, hiking, surfing, and little acrobatic sessions. I’d love to get into acroyoga if I find a partner for. I enjoy dancing, being active, and trying new things in general.
Music is something I naturally come back to again and again in my life. I like playing with words and flows, I play a bit of guitar, and I’m currently learning bass. My dream is to play the drums someday. I enjoy jam sessions and singing – something I feel quite comfortable with when I’m in a safe space.
At home, my family and I have two dogs, Basti and Dino. They’re amazing and completely addicted to cuddles. There’s nothing better than coming home and being welcomed with fur and endless kisses. They’re like my kids, and I love them more than anything.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing to connect with people, share experiences, and get to know places through the eyes of locals rather than just as a tourist. I really value meaningful conversations, cultural exchange, and the small moments that make traveling feel real.

Music, Movies, and Books
The best book I’ve read this year was The End of Loneliness by Benedict Wells, and I appreciate thoughtful humor, good films, and especially techno and dub music – although I also really enjoy older music, jazz, and more soulful or spiritual sounds. In the end, I love any music that truly moves me and makes me want to dance.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love cooking and I’m pretty good at it – especially when it comes to sharing food with others and trying out new things together in the kitchen. And if you can’t teach me how to kickflip, I’ll happily teach you how to ollie instead hahaha
