Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

To me, meeting locals is an essential part of travelling. I do not need to see every highlight of a country or a city, I like to see how people live, eat, dance, what they dream of, what they think about the world and life in general. These are the experiences and memories I carry with me forever. :-)

Interesses

I like playing the piano and try to play the guitar, I love cycling, especially in holidays.
I also try to learn Irish dancing, which is quite fun.
I like to do sports outside in general, I love experiencing different seasons every year again and welcome the first snow every winter with great joy!

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

The best books and movies are the one that make me on the one side laugh and think on the other side. I definitely love for example "The Truman Show" or I enjoy reading classical writers like Mark Twain, Erich Kästner or Michael Ende. Books that inspired me were for example "The unlikely pilgrimage of Harold Fry" and "Blackout".
I love Oldie music, especially Queen, but also CCR or Cat Stevens. But I like music in general and always like to listen to new sounds! :-)

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

My student exchange to Tasmania was definitely one of the best things I've ever done! Also the bike trips I've done through Europe with two friends - Julia and Camilla - were very great experiences!

I would love to cook a German meal for you, its my favourite meal and called "Zwetschgenknödel". I already cooked it on a campfire and it is really simple but tastes delicious... :-)
