Overview
About Me
Hi ! I am currently living spain and working as a language assistant for the NALCAP program. I have been working as a special education teacher in Montreal (Canada) for the last five years, but I needed a little adventure after the two years of Covid that we've been through. So here I am, ready for adventure !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to travel around Europe as much as possible and meet new people. There is no better way to discover a new place than to get advice from the locals.
Interests
The thing I love about traveling is the feeling of seeing a new place with the excitment of a child. Everything is so big and beautiful and interesting. That is the feeling I get when I try a new hobbie. So far, I tried a few: painting, drawing, creating stained glass art, playing the guitar, baladi dancing, tennis, yoga, bouldering, camping... I particularly enjoy bike touring or listening to podcasts while I walk for hours.

Music, Movies, and Books
When I watch a movie, I want to be entertained, not depressed. So I watch comedies, Science fiction, a few horror movies. My favorite in the last couple of months is Everything, everywhere, all at once. So weird !
As for books, I am currently reading the book a book called Vagabonding An Uncommon Guide to the Art of Long-Term World Travel.
I love all kind of music, from Joe Dassin to Bbno$.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The time I went paragliding in the Julian Alps (Slovenia).
What I Can Share with Hosts
I speak three languages (russian, french and english) and am learning a fourth (spanish). I would love to practice any of those languages with my host !
