ABOUT ME

I live in the San Juan Islands off the coast of Washington where I bake for a couple of small markets, take photos, and host a little artist residency. I bake, bike, take photos, and other various creative jobs. I'm a curious person who thinks there is magic to be found in most things. I enjoy everything from engaging conversation to spontaneous painting sessions to farmers markets to nighttime ocean swims.

All grown-ups were children first. (But few remember it).

After hosting for 3 years I've taken a bit of a respite from Couchsurfing - excited to return again now with a renewed zeal!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

From sharing coffee and stories in Istanbul to guacamole parties in Asheville, 50's dancing in D.C., falafel in Brooklyn, and domino games on Atlantic Beach, it has all been positive.

Intereses

Simple and earthy things, please. Mindfulness, astrology, baking, philosophy of all sorts, anything *woo*, ancestral, or full of truth. Also, magic, watercolor painting, classics, food, cycling, creativity in every form, being immersed in water and/or a book.

Bread, all the kinds, I would love to show you how to make them, among many other foods. Astrology knowledge of all sorts. I like to pick just the right song for any particular moment and would be more than excited to assemble a picnic to go with it. I can help you dust off that old 35mm and we can go on a film photography adventure.
