ABOUT ME

So I am about to return to France for the 3rd time, combining business with pleasure over 2 weeks. I have only seen Paris, so I want to go south and get a real sense of what other regions of the country are like.

As documentary filmmaking is in my background, I plan on spending a few days at the film fest in Cannes. Otherwise, am looking forward to immersing myself in regular French culture.

PHILOSOPHY

After slumbering through a few different directions for a few years, I'm finally driven and directed to what I want to do for the years ahead. Plus I'm a fan of whirlwind travel experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well I live in the biggest city in Canada in a one bedroom apartment (with the couch in the other room), so I am always willing to help out a fellow Surfer. Or if not the couch, then take them out for a drink and show them the best places to see in Toronto.

Music, Movies, and Books

Just finished Robert Kaplan's "Monsoon" (he inspired travel in me better than anyone else) and a recent Batman graphic novel. Also just finished"A Splendid Exchange: About How Trade Shaped the World" by William J. Bernstein". I am a geopolitics geek.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made two documentary for television and wanna make more. I didn't think about doing it at first but just got caught up in it and led astray by it. Thus, I know more about legalese in the film world than I ever thought existed. I can't wait to indulge further!

I loves to gab. Do a bit of amateur photography (but always looking to learn more) but has not much to offer aside a compendious knowledge of bellydancing, fluency in Hindi and great mitts for dishwashing.
