COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

About ten years ago I read an article on CS in my daily newspaper. For the time being it was nothing for me but now I look for some adventure in seeing new people.

Interests

I feel passionately for the environment. My other (too many!) main interests are animals and arts & crafts, languages, meeting people among others.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music taste ranges from Santana to Blake and Cortes. I also love Mexican folk music. The only kinds of music I deeply dislike is countrymusic and Swedish folk music
I read anything except romantic novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was going by train far from home and I asked the person sitting opposite me what his wife had as profession. His reply awestruck me. His wife took over the job after my sister in law at her family´s clothes shop in the middle of Sweden 25 years earlier. This happened in another country than Sweden.

A long time ago a fairly late summers night I was walking home over one of the bridges in Stockholm when I came to see a girl about my age, twentyish, on the other side of the fence. Apparently she intended to commit suicide. I stopped, talked to her for a while, saying that I was lonely too and wouldnt she, pls, come with me home for the night? Eventually she came with me and stayed over the weekend. I showed her my city before she went to Finland and then home. We never continued the contact as I suppose she was ashamed. For me, tho, it was something special that I could help her.
