ABOUT ME

I love life and I love traveling!

That's why I took a year off work and went traveling the world in 2011.

I love to wander around cities, talking to locals, visiting small markets, taking pictures, trying exotic food or just enjoying different smells or the colours of other countries..

I find myself walking around with the biggest smile on my face most of the time when I am traveling, because I enjoy it so much. And I am happy that I have been lucky to meet wonderful people in every country that I visited.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Meeting people for a Kölsch and a nice walk around Cologne, sharing travel stories, learning about other cultures, exploring, laughing, being silly, partying..

I enjoy meeting people from everywhere in the world and I like hosting and trying to make their time in my city a memorable one.

For me Couchsurfing is not something like a website for free hotels!!
So if you are only interested to have a place to stay without paying (especially when you come to Cologne for work or for a long-time stay) please don't ask me!
I am interested in meeting interesting, adventurous people from all over the world that have the same "addiction" like me - travelling and getting to know other cultures, sharing stories and learning new things.

Please don't request more than three nights, my apartment is really small and after a couple of days I will need my space back ;-).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not yet been able to surf any couches. But I would love to.. Maybe on my next trip?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

You don't need to spend much money to do exciting things or visit the most exotic places in the world, sometimes just watching a beautiful sunrise or sunset can blow your mind!

I was lucky to see a lot of amazing sunrises and sunsets while I was in Africa.

The most amazing thing I did in my life definitely was my trip around the world!!
The freedom of getting up every day without having to work and being free to decide where to go next, what to do and with whom to spend the time was just amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

At the moment I take spanish lessons, because I really like the language and I love South America! I would be happy to try and improve my spanish by hosting and talking to people from spanish-speaking countries.

As I really like cooking I would offer you to cook German, Asian or Italian food for us when I am staying with you as your guest.. But I also would be happy to learn cooking some of your traditional food!

I love photography and maybe you´d like to stroll around your city with me and show me some nice places where we can take lovely pictures together. I would be happy to take some nice portrait shots of you if you want!
