ABOUT ME

For all my life music has been everything for me. Back in Latvia I was always singing in my family, choirs and in few bands. After high-school graduation I thought to myself "There is so much to see in this world, I want to experience something new, explore new cultures and people with whom I share this planet!" So I decided to move to Amsterdam. At that point I had no idea what is going to happen, what I will do for living or anything else.
Right now I'm a receptionist in a hotel in Amsterdam. For me it's a great way how to meet people from all over the world, learn their stories and share mine.

Also I just released my first official EP under the stage name "Soror". And most of my free time I spend writing new music and improvising on my piano.

Interests

My passion is music and everything what is related to that. But also I'm always interested in traveling experiences. In religious believes from different point of views. In other culture traditions. Languages. And mostly everything new that makes me wonder how this world works.

Music, Movies, and Books

My biggest influence in music comes from artists like Mumford&Sons, The Tallest Man On Earth, Jack Johnson, Ben Howard, Johny Cash, Radiohead etc. Always enjoy to listen live Jazz, Funk and Classical music (although I think every type of live music is enjoyable if the person/band is good in what they are presenting)
Movies that I have enjoyed: Into The Wild, Amelie, 127 hours, Mr. Nobody, Butterfly Effect, Dinner with Schmucks, Once etc.
